Nundrisha Wakhloo is an independent documentary filmmaker based in New Delhi, India. She received her diploma from the Creative Documentary Course, Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication. Deploying powerful visuals and experimentation, she layers different narratives together in her practice. Her work captures forms of reminiscing in spaces and by people, driven by her own sense of belongingness to her culture.She completed a year-long fellowship at the Union Docs Collaborative Studio, New York, in 2020. Presently she is the Co-Director of New Delhi chapter of the Video Consortium, a global platform that supports voices in documentary film and video journalism. Her films have been screened at various festivals like IAWRT, Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Bangalore International Film Festival, Uni Short International Student Film Festival, KHOJ International Artists Association, Experimenta and IDSFFK Kerala. She recently completed her short documentary on Kashmir, Brair Kani (Cat’s attic). Her diploma film Chaaya (From the Shadows) is currently featured on MUBI.
