Marie Jørgensen was born in Denmark in 1983. From 2004 to 2005 she studied visual communication at Denmark’s Design school. After a year she decided to shift to animation and in February 2009 she got her bachelor degree in Character Animation from the Animation Workshop in Viborg. She animated on the Film School Graduation short “Space Monkeys” and Together with three other classmates she worked on the 7 minutes long 2D short “Leitmotif” on which she did background design, color styling and animation.
