Marie Thorhauge Tørslev was born in Silkeborg, Denmark, in 1985. In the years 2004-2009 she studied classical drawing, design and 2D animation. This resulted in a Bachelor Degree in Animation Arts from The Animation Workshop. Furthermore the 4 years of study resulted in the 7min animation short Leitmotif and a 3 month internship at Cartoon Saloon, Kilkenny, Ireland. Currently she is starting up her firm Art by Thorhauge, through which she will be working freelance with animation arts and illustration.
