Justin Kim WooSŏk was born in South Korea, grew up in Los Angeles and received his university education in Connecticut, specifically in film and American studies. His work, which combines fiction and nonfiction, explores ethnographic themes with a focus on issues of diaspora and the relationship to one’s homeland.
