Marlene Emilie Lyngstad (Denmark)

Marlene Emilie Lyngstad (born 1997) is a Norwegian director and scriptwriter living in Denmark. She graduated as a director from the National Film School of Denmark with the film *Norwegian Offspring8, which won awards at festivals like Cannes Film Festival, the Norwegian international film festival Haugesund and Nordic Panorama. She is working in hybrid formats between fiction and documentary and are interested in the conflicts of the human body in modern society. In her work, she is experimenting with the mix of empathy, disgust, humor and melancholy.
