Óscar Garzón

Óscar Garzón (Colombia)

Óscar Garzón studied Literature at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and specialized in screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He was a contributor and critic for the now defunct Arcadia Magazine. Winner of several grants from the Colombian Film Fund -Proimágenes Colombia in the categories of feature film scriptwriting and short film production.

Mariana and the order of things, his first experimental short film, was part of the official selection of several local and international film festivals such as the Cartagena International Film Festival - FICCI 62 in its programme “Mapa de Miradas”, the Bogota Experimental Film Festival 2022 and the Frontera Sur Festival in Concepción, Chile.
