Andris Gauja (Latvia)

After studying screenwriting and international relations, Latvian filmmaker Andris Gauja (1978) worked as a journalist and television editor. As a director and producer, he has made a number of documentary and fiction films and television programmes. His work deals with socio-political themes as well as specific human fates.
