As a child, he used to borrow his father's camera to create stop motion animations with modelling clay. This brought him, a few years later after his degree from the IUT of Arles, to enter the first year at the Ecole des Nouvelles Images where he was able to discover each stage of the construction of a 3D film. He developed an eye for animation, and a desire to tell stories through filmmaking.
