Eva van Tongeren is a visual artist working mainly in film and video. She graduated from Luca School of Arts in Brussels in 2015. Her thesis project, There Are No Whales in France, earned her the VAF Wildcard Filmlab award. The film was screened at multiple festivals and won first prize at the IN OUT festival in Gdansk. In addition to her filmmaking, Eva serves as a permanent curator for the biennial Visite film festival, which showcases a blend of political, experimental, and documentary cinema.
