Marcin Modzelewski, an artist, traveler, and free spirit from Warsaw, graduated from Jan Kochanowski High School and the National Film School in Łódź. In past years he has honed documentary skills and experimented with new media. Through solitary, months-long hitchhiking journeys, he formed close relationships with people from various cultures, learning their worldviews and storytelling methods. In his film Lift Lady, he combines experience of individuality with the universality of the story.
