Tâm Đỗ is a Vietnamese artist and filmmaker based between Saigon and The Hague. Working between documentary and fiction, their films explore the strange ways histories are constructed, remembered and sometimes invented. Their ongoing film series The Time Detective Show follows a time-travelling detective who revisits historical narratives, investigates missing stories and attempts to rewrite the past. Through found footage, speculative storytelling and playful manipulation of archives, Đỗ treats filmmaking as a form of time travel. They are currently pursuing a Master of Artistic Research at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK).
