Yaniv Berman was born in 1977, in Haifa, Israel. An avid reader of books and viewer of films, Yaniv has always been devoted to the art of storytelling, in all its forms. When in high school, he joined the newly incepted cinema program and started making films.
Yaniv has an MFA degree from the Film and Television Department at Tel Aviv University. His master project there was devoted to the evolution and significance of exploitation cinema.
As a scriptwriter and film director, Yaniv is constantly working on new ideas for films and other projects.
"I would like to make them scream, disgusted and horrified. I would like to make them angry! I don't want them sitting on their asses without becoming partners in crime," Yaniv Berman commented on his last till date documentary film The Alpha Diaries.
