Jiska Rickels (Netherlands)

Jiska Rickels studied at Natinal Film Academy of Amsterdam and Munich Film and Television Academy in Germany. Her graduate work was short film Days Under which was awarded many film prices among them also Special Mention at IFF Karlovy Vary 2004. Her first documentary feature 4 Elements was screened as opening movie at IDFA - International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and year later was in competition of IDF Karlovy Vary. Her last film till date Babaji, an Indian Love Story won in a section Regards Neufs at Visions du Reel in Nyon.
