Tine Katinka Jensen was born 1975, Denmark. She graduated as a documentarist from the National Film School of Denmark, 2005. Her graduation film Angie (2005), which tells a story of a headstrong female rapper who hangs out somewhere in the suburbs of danish town Arhus, won the GuldDok Award for Best Short Documentary at CPH:DOX and the Jury's Special Prize at Odense. In 2000 her 8 part series on Wonderkids was broadcasted on Danishe TV 2 and her TV documentary for children about Malaysia brought her the 1st prize at Nordic Childrens TV festival. Solange on Love (2008) Tine´s first movie after graduation won the Danish Dox Award ex equo at CPH:DOX. It is a poetic, character driven love documentary from Chile, land of beauty and harshness. Tine meanwhile combines her artistic work with teaching at the Film School.
