Filmmaker and musician. Award-winning author of four documentary feature films. Graduated and post-graduated in Portuguese Language and Culture by the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lisbon. His debut film, “Balaou” (2007), won 2 prizes in IndieLisboa Festival. His film “It´s the Earth not the Moon” (2011) premiered at Locarno FF, where it got a special mention in Cineasti del Presente competition, and screened in more than 100 festivals worldwide. During the last four years, he’s been producing two documentary feature films in the Azores, where he also lives.
