Benedek "Bence" Fliegauf is a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. He never attended film school, instead working as an assistant director for television as he continued on the path toward directing, screenwriting, set design and sound engineering. His first Berlinale outing was in 2004 with DEALER. He won the Golden Leopard for contemporary directors at Locarno film festival in 2007 for TEJUT (MILKY WAY). He won the Silver Bear Jury Grand Prix at the 2012 Berlinale for his film JUST THE WIND.
