Ladislav Kudelka was Slovak documentary filmmaker, director and author of screenplays. He became one of the key figures of Slovak cinematography and short film. He became a filmmaker in the 1950s when he was shooting mainly ideological movies about socialism and the working class. His work has become more interesting and experimental during the 1960s in the period of ideological liberalization.
