Later went on to study history at University. In 1997 he left for London and took part in the launch of cinema channel at TCM. From there he started to gain experience, first becoming in charge of on air branding then taking on the duties of a Director/Editor. From 2001 to 2007, he directed programs on European and American cinema as well as interviewing William Friedkin, Peter Fonda and other noted directors. In 2007-2008 he traveled extensively throughout South America. In 2010-2011, studied for a Master in documentaries at Pompeu Fabra university in Barcelona. 2012 saw him finish the film ‘la craie et la plume’ his first, programmed at FID Marseille and Huesca International Festival. In 2012 and 2013 he carried on developing various personal projects including Ecuador, lointain interieur. Also since 2013 he has been teaching a workshop on documentary filmmaking at INSA Lyon.
