Marcos Pimentel is a director, screenwriter and independent producer. He has a Degree in documentary filmmaking from Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV – Cuba) and post graduation course in Documentary Cinema from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, in Germany. Degree in Social Communication from UFJF (Brazil) and a degree in Psychology from CES-JF (Brazil). Since 2009, he has been a professor in the documentary department at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños International School of Film and Television (EICTV – Cuba). Marcos Pimentel has made several creative documentaries that won prizes at national and international film festivals and has had his work exhibited at over 700 festivals all over the world.
