Marius Iacob studied UNATC (The National University of Theatre and Film) in Romania, where he also worked as an assistant professor. He has attended several professional programmes, such as Budapest Cinematography Masterclass in 2005, Berlinale Talent Campus in 2006, Aristoteles Workshop in 2007, Four Corners in 2009 or Ex Oriente in 2013.
