Jeanne Paturle (France)

Jeanne Paturle and Cécile Rousset bumped into each other in a dark corridor of the E.N.S.A.D (National School of Applied Arts), in 2003. They each were directing their own end of studies film, which mixed documentary and animation: Closed eyes, and Paul. A few years later, with the intuition that making films together is better, they directed One voice, one vote, which question the place of politic in our life. When they don't cut up scraps of paper, Cécile teach visual arts in primary school, and Jeanne works with young people, as a specialist teacher. During 2 years, they worked in the same school, in a difficult area, where they shared interrogations and difficulties with the teach team. To live this experience with these young teachers stimulate the desire to make their last film.
