Michael Graversen studied Film, Media and Psychology at the University of Copenhagen. He then worked as a culture journalist at the national broadcaster in Denmark. Later, Graversen graduated from the National Film and Television School in the UK. His films, told in a poetic and intimate manner, cover existential themes. His portrait of a children's asylum centre in Denmark, 'No Man's Land", which tells the story of a children's asylum in Denmark, was screened at IDFA and won various awards in international festivals in Tehran, Hamburg and Belgrade.
