What kind of images can possibly represent the people who are described as ‘homeless’? Are there images appropriate for the experience of having no home? Christophe Bisson asks himself this question and in order to answer this expansive aim, he sets the question in a particular setting. This setting, in which the whole film takes place, is in a few large rooms in a once glorious palace. The contradictious of opulence and degradation playout extending beyond the fading decadence of the palace, asking the viewer if the possibility of representing the unrepresented is a task that film can perform.
