A look into the life of whistleblower Chelsea Manning, who, even after being released from prison, refuses to give up her activism and continues to pursue everything she believes in.
Private Bradley Manning shook up America and the world when he became one of the most successful whistleblowers. Later, in prison, he underwent a gender transition, after which he became a woman, changing his name to Chelsea. As the world considers how to approach this issue, she too is seeking answers to questions about her identity and the meaning of everything she has been through. The film by British director Tim Travers allows her to talk and explain her motivations. It shows the oppressive and paranoia-permeated reality she lives in today, while she tries to remain politically active. The film focuses on the personal tension and stress that must be endured by a person who has repeatedly opposed the system, aware of the inevitable consequences.
