Lúcia e Conceição discusses the lives of two girls from the village of Maia, in the Azores. A fascinating document about a Portugal where the revolution had not yet arrived because, unlike one of the young women interviewed in another film that Cinequipa made for television (APANHA DA AZEITONA), Lúcia and Conceição did not read Lenine and do not defend the ideals of PREC. These are images produced for RTP (Rádio e Televisão Portuguesa), from a place where television had not yet arrived.

This film is not currently online :(

But no worries. There are more just like it in our new programme.
