Best Feature-Length Documentary // Victims of serious accidents are hospitalized at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department of a major Athenian hospital. For several months they struggle to walk again and re-learn basic gestures, with the support of a pluri-disciplinary medical team, their families and ward-mates.
Some will regain their faculties. Those who will not, will have to confront an even more serious challenge: to accept their handicap.
Filmed from the point of view of four patients with mobility issues, the film explores the antinomy between hope and acceptance, one of the basic dilemmas of human existence.
