Film trilogy Garden Store consists of three separate films taking place against the backdrop of the most dramatic periods of the last century. It tells the story of three families: a family of an air radio operator, a family of a hair salon owner and a family of a garden store owner. Suitor, taking place in the late 1950s, concentrates on family relations scarred by the war and the communist takeover. The tragicomic insight shows a generational conflict between the prewar and postwar generations. Suitor is a romantic comedy about expectations parents have about the future fortune of their children.
