Juan, a 9 year-old Peruvian boy, lives with his silent dad in a floating house on the breathtaking Amazon River. This idyllic background sets an allegorical journey into the rainforest jungle, where nature, gender, truth and all things begin to reveal the identity of his dad.
Director's Statement: I believe cinema must be a weapon to visualize stories with a social conscious message. My work is halfway between fiction and documentary. I look for the poetry of reality. In this sense, I like to craft oniric universes where dreams and reality merge creating an atemporal timeline. Also, nature plays an important role for me: Nature must reveal the true identity of my characters as an omniscient witness. In that manner, my characters are deeply connected with the space they live in. The space becomes a psychosomatic reflection of their inner world.
