Report from a girls' boarding school on the Czech-Polish border. The austere black and white camera captures everyday moments, factory work and students' leisure activities. The inner world of the protagonists is present in a stylized commentary read by Iva Janžurová. For political reasons, the film was released under the name of cinematographer Přemysl Prokop.
