Widely considered one of the seminal films of the early 21st century digital revolution, Tarnation is a mind bending portrait of an American Family. Produced by Gus Van Sant & John Cameron Mitchell, Jonathan Caouette's Tarnation is an autobiography unlike anything else. Originally made for $218 and the price of an iMovie download, Tarnation went on to open at Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, and be nominated for an Independent Spirit Award before eventually being named “one of the essential documentaries of the decade” by Vulture.

But no worries. There are more just like it in our new programme.
