A summer comedy about friendship, rebellion and self-acceptance, it tells the story of curmudgeonly Eddy and independent Amber. The pair of friends decide to fake a romantic relationship to silence speculation about their sexuality - because in small-town Ireland in the mid-90s, there's no room for any kind of difference. The conspiratorial pact is supposed to last until graduation. After that, Amber plans to move to liberal London, where she will be free to live and pursue her passion for music. Eddy, however, refuses to fully admit his orientation and intends to dedicate his future to serving in the army like his father. Can Amber help him break free from the prejudices of his surroundings?
