The Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy) in Warsaw is a tourist attraction for some, a place of individual and collective manifestations of opinions or skills for others or just a workplace for yet another group. Artur Wierzbicki’s camera takes a closer look at people who, for various reasons, ended up near Sigismund’s Column – the most popular meeting place in the Old Town. He captures changing seasons, clothes and moods of the street, national victories and personal dramas. He remains with his camera within several dozen square meters, casually showing what has been in the centre of attention for Warsaw and Poland for the last two years.
