When my grandmother was eight years old, she crossed a mountainous forest, at a time when the Spanish sky buzzed with military planes. That day she escaped from the servitude to which her own godfather exposed her, towards her hometown. At some point, she decided to study sewing. And some time later, cross the sea alone, towards Buenos Aires. One afternoon, I ask her to teach me how to sew. As we make a red hooded coat, we, two women separated by more than sixty years, discuss the stories and contradictions of our gender and class within four walls. Outside, a new feminist generation takes to the streets.
