The video is a documentary/experimental/installation project compiled from amateur VHS archives from the 90's. These were collected systematically by the author to offer a view into the personal situation of post-revolutionary times in former Czechoslovakia. Non-native home videos are transmitting emotion mainly to the related audience trough the individual memory of the real-life situation.
However, taken out of the original context, these "film stripes" acquire a new perspective enabling a reflection of the content of the depicted reality, but also the reflection on the amateur way of storytelling on the academic level of filmmaking.
