Katerina is a documentary filmmaker and producer. She graduated with a masters degree in Cultural Anthropology from Charles University in Prague and received her film training at Prague Film School. In 2012, she founded the company Bohemian Productions, focusing entirely on directing and producing documentary films. Her first feature documentary Children of Flamenco (2013) was screened at many international festivals, including the International Art Film Festival in Montreal 2015; Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival 2015, South Korea; Espoo Ciné 2014, Finland; Guangzhou International Film Festival 2013, China; etc. Her latest work includes the TV documentary film Tribute to Music Teachers (2016) and Children Online (2017), which has been selected among the finalists for Japan Prize 2017 and screened at many international festivals including the CPH:DOX 2017 in Copenhagen; One World Int. Film Festival 2017 in Prague; Festival Cottbus in Germany; Zagreb DOX 2018; etc.
