Konrad Królikowski - a sociologist by training, he has worked as a lecturer, reporter, photographer, and video artist. In search of new means of expression, he began working with film, resulting in his debut Blocks (2017) - Poland's first multi-faceted documentary on housing and, at the same time, a record of the great social changes of post-war Poland. The film was an attendance (275,000 viewers) and artistic success (world premiere at the Architecture Film Festival in Rotterdam, screenings at festivals in Europe, Asia, and America). Another documentary, Identity’ (2022), was in the Polish competition of the Krakow Film Festival, where the world premiere of the film took place. The director's creative interests are identity and the relationship between the individual and society. He is currently working on his third documentary and his feature film debut.
