Simon LIU was raised between Hong Kong and Stoke-on-Trent, England, and now lives in Brooklyn, New York. LIU's films and 16mm multiple-projection performances have been presented at film festivals and institutions around the world, including the IFF Rotterdam, Toronto IFF, New York Film Festival, Hong Kong IFF, etc. He has given lectures and performed as a visiting artist at institutions, such as Yale University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China, and the Beijing Film Academy. LIU's first feature film, Staffordshire Hoard, is currently in post-production.
