Tomasz Wolski is a scriptwriter and documentary filmmaker born in 1977. He is a graduate of Journalism at the Jagiellonian University and the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. Aside from directing his own films Tomasz also worked as a director’s assistant to Jacek Bławut on Born Dead (2004).
Tomasz has taken part in Berlinale Talent Campus twice and received a scholarship from Ministry of Culture and Natural Heritage (of the Republic of Poland). He has won a number of Festival awards in Neubrandenburg, Pamplona and Wroclaw among others. He was awarded at The Punto de Vista Documentary Film Festival in Spain with Jean Vigo Prize for the Best Director, DocumentART Festival in Germany with Grand Prix, International Film Festival “Era New Horizons” in Wroclaw for Best Documentary and “Slamdance on the Road” Festival in Poland with Grand Prix.
