Many things happen over the course of 35 years of a couple’s shared life: Most of the time, the pair faces common daily issues and joys that come with raising children, running the household or a business. Director Helena Třestíková follows furniture shop owners Ivana and Vaclav Strnadovi with her camera in the long-term project A Marriage Story, from moments of absolute harmony through metaphorical crossroads and difficult situations.
