Eleven years after her grandfather’s death, Azerbaijani filmmaker Leylakhanim Ganbarli finally confronts the unprocessed grief of her loss by taking an emotional yet tangible journey. She travels from Baku to her remote childhood village, Oglangala, carrying precious memories with her. Through images and words that recall moments shared with her grandfather, these memories come vividly to life. Accompanying her is her grandmother, who becomes both a travel companion and a source of emotional support, sharing her own recollections. The documentary alternates between family footage from the 1990s and present-day material, strengthening the connection between past and present and marking a new phase in the relationship between grandmother and granddaughter.
