Creative documentaries at unconventional venues? That’s KineDok. On March 25, it will launch its 5th edition in seven European countries; plus online for the first time! Before you head for one of the screenings of this year’s films, watch those shown by KineDok in the past years online!
We present the online premiere of End of the World, a Polish documentary about an urban phenomenon: loneliness. A night radio show talks about the end of the world according to the Maya Calendar and the host asks the listeners about their opinion. Their obvious need to be heard, communicate and share their experience with others is all-embracing. The Beast Is Still Alive captures the need of post-communist countries to constantly cope with their past. Is there such a thing as ideal communism, without the crimes we have witnessed in the past? The Hungarian documentary Drifter follows two friends who decide to apply for a rally. They are not eighteen yet, their cars have no tyres and one of them is almost blind. Yet they still believe in themselves!
